Srinagar: While the Pahalgam terrorist attack of the Kashmir Valley is being condemned across the country, there is increasing anger among the local people in Jammu and Kashmir. For the first time in 35 years, strict shutdown was kept in the entire Jammu and Kashmir state. This strict bandh indicates that Kashmiri is also suffering from terrorism.
All markets, shops and business sites remained closed in Pahalgam in Kashmir Valley on Wednesday, where terrorists attacked. Not only this, local traders and citizens came out on the streets to show solidarity against terrorism and raised slogans of Hindustan Zindabad. Not only this, I also gave a strong message to the terrorists who were trying to incite Kashmiris against India by raising slogans of “I am Indian”. Hindus and Muslims have united and conveyed this message against terrorism.
In a conversation with the media, the people of Pahalgam said that we are arranging to live, eat and drink for all the trapped tourists. Local hotel businessman Asif Burja, who participated in the protest, said, “This attack has embarrassed us. What was the fault of these tourists?” They came here only to roam here. We are completely with the army in the campaign against terrorists. Earlier, Jammu used to close occasionally, but the Kashmir Valley was seen as a complete bandh for the first time in 35 years. At present, security system has been increased in the entire valley.
