New Delhi. Monsoon rain is raining heavily in Uttar Pradesh. Different districts of UP are raining daily. On Saturday night, there was heavy rains in big cities like Aligarh, Mathura Meerut etc., due to which there was two-two feet of water on the streets of the cities. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains for the next three days. On Sunday too, many districts are expected to receive heavy rains.

Orange alert issued for many states

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for several states for July 6, including the coastal areas of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Goa, West Bengal and Karnataka.

General life disrupted in Himachal

Cloudburst, sudden floods and landslides have disturbed normal life in Himachal. In Himachal Pradesh, about 43 people died in rain -related incidents in the last 14 days, while 37 others are missing. With rivers flowing above the danger mark, IMD has warned that there is a possibility of extremely heavy rains at different places in Himachal Pradesh on July 6.

Alert in these states

Many districts of Odisha are reported to have large -scale waterlogging due to rain. A red alert has been issued for heavy rains on July 6 in many districts of Madhya Pradesh. The Meteorological Agency said in its latest press release that on July 06 and 07, there is a possibility of extremely heavy rainfall at different places in the Ghat areas of Central Maharashtra.

IMD said, “There is a possibility of heavy rainfall at different places during July 8-10 in eastern Uttar Pradesh, West Rajasthan. Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir are expected to receive very heavy rainfall in Jammu on 6th of July 5-9, while Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand has predicted heavy rains today.

Possibility of heavy rainfall till 10 July

Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Eastern Rajasthan, Western Uttar Pradesh till July 10 and there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in eastern Rajasthan till July 6 and thereafter on 9 and 10 July. IMD scientist Naresh Kumar told ANI that two winds are running in Madhya Pradesh and North Odisha, which are favorable for heavy rains.

Rain red alert today in Mandi, Kangra and Sirmaur

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert of heavy to very heavy rainfall at some places in three districts Mandi, Kangra and Sirmaur on July 6. Except Lahul Spiti and Kinnaur, there is an arranged alert of heavy rainfall at some places in other districts.

During this time, there is a possibility of flooding at some places. The upcoming 24 hours are said to be very heavy. During this time, landslides can occur at many places with essential services affecting.
