News India Live, Digital Desk: Today is 6th December. A very emotional and important day in the history of India. On this day, the creator of our Constitution and the Messiah of all of us Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Ji had left us. Today the whole country is remembering him with tears in his eyes and paying homage to him.
But friends, on this Martyrdom Day (Mahaparinirvan Day), the temperature of politics of Uttar Pradesh is also on the rise. Chief of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Mayawati Today Ji paid tribute to Baba Saheb, but at the same time left no stone unturned in showing the mirror to both the ruling government (BJP) and Congress.
Let us understand in simple language what sister has said that has created a stir in the political circles.
What happened to the “good days”?
We have all heard the slogan over the years, “Good days will come.” Today Mayawati ji has raised a direct question on this slogan. He asked in a very sharp tone that the government should tell when will the ‘good days’ of crores of Dalits, tribals, backward people and poor of the country finally come?
His statement was very clear. He said that everything seems fine on paper and in speeches, but the reality is that the poor are still struggling to earn two meals a day. Dearness touching the sky, Unemployment has broken the back of the youth and poverty Instead of decreasing, it is increasing.
Jobs famine and reservation
Putting her hand on the pain of the youth, Mayawati said that government jobs have now become a dream. And even in the few vacancies that do come out, the backlog of ‘reservation’ is not completed. His indication was clear that the rights of Bahujan community are still not being given honestly. Governments change, faces change, but the exploitation of Dalits and backward communities does not stop.
Congress is also in trouble
The interesting thing was that he not only cursed BJP but also attacked Congress. He reminded people which party had delayed giving Bharat Ratna to Baba Saheb. What he meant was clear, whether it is Congress or BJP, both the parties have considered Dalits only as vote bank.
“You have to take the keys to power yourself.”
In the end, Mayawati gave the same mantra to her supporters. He said that nothing will be achieved by relying on others. If Baba Saheb’s dreams are to come true and we really want ‘Acche Din’, then the Bahujan Samaj will have to unite and take the key to power in its hands. That means he has raised his voice for the upcoming elections.
