How cheap or expensive compared to the old routes?
At first glance, the toll of ₹1500 for a car may seem high, but when compared with the old routes, the picture changes. This journey through the old National Highway takes more than 12 hours, which involves dozens of traffic jams and many different toll plazas. This wastes both time and fuel. At the same time, car toll on Yamuna Expressway is around Rs 2.95 per km, which is costlier than Ganga Expressway. The fuel saved by traveling non-stop at a speed of 120 km/hr on the Ganga Expressway will offset the toll cost to a great extent. This expressway is no less than a boon for traders, because their goods will now reach from one city to another in half the time.
Not only toll, you will also get these wonderful facilities
This expressway promises not only high speed but also safe travel. This route passing through 12 districts of Uttar Pradesh will open new doors for trade and tourism. The entire expressway will have high-tech cameras, bright lighting for night travel and emergency assistance every few kilometres. The biggest relief is that there will be no hassle of stopping at toll booths again and again, which will make the journey comfortable. However, make sure that your vehicle has Fastag and has sufficient balance as traveling without Fastag will be difficult.
Overall, Ganga Expressway is not only a time saver but is also going to truly prove to be an economical and convenient option for the people of Uttar Pradesh.
