Lucknow, 20 August (HS). BJP's State General Secretary (Organization) Dharampal Singh, while discussing in detail about the membership campaign, said that the basis of the strength of the organization is membership. The plan of this campaign is comprehensive and effective. We all have to work for all-inclusive and universal membership by running the membership campaign on the basis of pre-planning and complete planning. He was addressing the membership campaign workshop organized at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan.
He told that the membership campaign will start from September 1. The membership campaign will start on September 1. He told that from 22 to 24 August, district workshops and front workshops are to be organized for the membership campaign. Whereas from 25 to 27 August, workshops for the membership campaign are to be organized at the divisional level. On 31 August, a booth level workshop will be organized for the membership campaign simultaneously at all the booths.
The state general secretary of the organization said that teams have to be formed at the region, district, division and booth level for the membership campaign. On 2nd and 3rd September, membership launching programs will be organized at different places in the state. On 4th and 5th September, press conference and membership launching will be organized at the district level. From 11th to 17th September a special membership campaign will be run, in which all party officials and public representatives will participate and membership will be done at the booth level. He asked to run a special campaign for teachers' membership on Teachers' Day on 5th September and for membership on Vishwakarma Jayanti on 17th September. He said that in the membership campaign being started by the party, the target has been given to enroll 20 thousand MPs, 10 thousand MLAs, 20 thousand Mayors, 5 thousand Municipal Council Presidents, 2 thousand Nagar Panchayat Presidents, 1 thousand Municipal Corporation Councillors, 500 Municipal Councillors and 200 Nagar Panchayat Councillors, Corporation Commission Board Chairman 1000, District Panchayat President 15 thousand, Youth Front 15 lakh, Women Front, Backward Front, Scheduled Caste Front 10 lakh each, Minority Front and Scheduled Tribe Front 2 lakh members each.
Dharmpal Singh, while stressing on running a campaign of wide publicity regarding membership, said that we have to work on a wide scale to make influential people of the society, people of specific groups and people from all sections of the society members of the party. The State General Secretary Organization also discussed organizing membership camps at public places.
