Lucknow, 20 September (HS). Inspired by Governor Anandiben Patel, a tree plantation and cleanliness program and a competition to arrange rooms, kitchen, clothes and books were organized at Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School, Sarojini Nagar on Friday in the series of campaigns being organized by the Raj Bhavan under Seva Pakhwada-2024. Additional Chief Secretary to the Governor Dr. Sudhir Mahadev Bobde, while addressing the students present, called upon them to take a pledge to maintain cleanliness in themselves, surroundings and society.
In the program, students of the school, working teachers and officers and employees of the Raj Bhavan participated and planted trees under the campaign 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' and gave the message of awareness towards nature to the society. In the program, Additional Chief Secretary to Governor Dr. Sudhir Mahadev Bobde, Assistant to Governor Puneet Dwivedi, Chief Development Officer Lucknow and officers of the Raj Bhavan also pledged to make the environment green by planting trees.
The students of Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School participated in the program and gave the message of health and cleanliness to the coming generation by making them aware about the environment. On this occasion, a walking march was also done by the children to spread awareness about the environment. Garden Superintendent Raj Bhavan Bhushan Prasad Singh, officials of Raj Bhavan and students of the school, teachers etc. were present in the program.
