What did Union Minister Tokhan Sahu say?
Confirming the project, Union Minister Tokhan Sahu said, “The central government assists the state governments in urban transport projects, but it depends on the proposals from the states. DMRC has been allowed to prepare a detailed project report (DPR), which is a big and important step for the project.”
He also informed that this report will also assess the possibility of expansion of metro as well as availability and expenses of resources.
What will happen in the new metro route?
