News India Live, Digital Desk: Bihar Politics: The stir in the politics of Bihar has intensified, when JDU leader and Rural Affairs Minister Ashok Chaudhary stunned an election strategist and a defamation case on Prashant Kishore (PK) and sent him a defamation notice of ₹ 100 crore. The case is related to the serious allegations of Prashant Kishore in which he claimed Chaudhary and his family to buy land worth about ₹ 200 crore in the last two years.

Ashok Chaudhary says that these allegations of Prashant Kishore are ‘sheer lies’ and baseless, which is the result of his ‘nervousness and fizzle’. Chaudhary has described these allegations as baseless and said that Prashant Kishore is trying to mislead people.

The minister also clarified that the so -called ₹ 200 crore property is being mentioned by Prashant Kishore, it is false and his daughter Shambhavi Chaudhary bought from his legitimate income, which is also mentioned in the electoral affidavit. He said that earlier a case of defamation was lodged against Prashant Kishore, in which the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Patna Civil Court (CJM) has issued summons to PK to appear in the court on 17 October 2025.

Chaudhary alleges that Prashant Kishore was scared after receiving a call from the court and in this panic, he started making a press conference and started making false allegations. Ashok Chaudhary also says that Prashant Kishore has deliberately tried to harm his public and political image.

Through this notice, Ashok Chaudhary has asked Prashant Kishore to apologize unconditionally for his allegations. Now it has to be seen what Prashant Kishore reacts to this defamation notice and whether this matter takes a big form of legal battle later. This controversy will definitely become a topic of more discussion in Bihar politics, especially when the Jan Suraj Party is preparing to contest its first election.
