News India Live, Digital Desk: The political activity in Bihar is not showing any signs of stopping. There are continuous political attacks on the families of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi. Now another new allegation has come to light, due to which the politics of Bihar has heated up. Janata Dal (United) (JDU) Legislative Councilor Sanjay Singh has claimed that Rabri Devi’s residence is full of gold, silver and cash worth crores of rupees.
Sanjay Singh’s allegation of ‘money rain’
Sanjay Singh has directly targeted Rabri Devi’s family and said, “No matter how much digging you do, you will find gold, silver, crores of rupees in cash and diamonds and jewels at Rabri Devi’s house.” His statement makes serious allegations of corruption against Rashtriya Janata Dal. He said that it is not surprising to find immense wealth in a family whose children can become owners of billions by not selling milk. This clearly shows that he was referring to the investigation and the facts revealed in the Land for Job Scam case, where allegations have been made of taking land in exchange for jobs in the Railways.
Took the names of Tejashwi Yadav and Tejashwi Prakash
Sanjay Singh did not stop here. He accused the leaders of Rashtriya Janata Dal that Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav himself declared himself fast, whereas Tejashwi Prakash (found at Rbuddy’s house) cannot be found. He raised the question as to how those who have no source of money or earning are able to acquire wealth worth crores of rupees. This statement of Sanjay Singh is being considered as a direct political attack on Tejashwi Yadav. Taking a dig at Tejashwi, he said that there is Tej in his name, but there is no transparency in his work.
Case of job in exchange for land:
All these allegations are related to the old case of ‘job in exchange for land’, where it is alleged that when Lalu Prasad Yadav was the Railway Minister, land was taken from him or his family in exchange for giving jobs to people in the Railways. Central agencies are investigating this matter and during this investigation many allegations and revelations have come to light. Opposition parties including JDU and BJP keep cornering the Lalu-Rabri family on this issue.
These allegations have brought more heat into the politics of Bihar. It remains to be seen how RJD reacts to these allegations.
