News India Live, Digital Desk: After getting relief from the scorching heat in Uttar Pradesh, now heavy monsoon rains have started affecting life. In view of this, the administration in many districts of the state has declared a holiday in schools in view of the safety of students. District Magistrates and Basic Education Officers of various districts have issued orders in this regard. Holidays have been announced in all schools on July 18 and 19 due to the possibility of excessive rains in districts like Chitrakoot, Jaunpur, Lalitpur and Mirzapur. At the same time, in Kanpur today, for July 18, all educational institutions from nursery to 12th have been instructed to be closed. Earlier, a holiday order was issued in schools due to possibility of heavy rains in Amethi district. These orders include all types of schools – whether they are councilors, primary, secondary, or CBSE and ICSE board recognized private schools. This step has been taken due to heavy rains warning issued by the Meteorological Department and problems faced in the movement of students. In many places, waterlogging and bad weather has become a priority to ensure safety of students and teachers. After the additional holidays caused by heat holidays and then the horrific heat, it is now further affecting the schedule of monsoon -borne holiday schools. The administration says that until the weather does not improve and the situation is not normal, this holiday can continue.
