News India Live, Digital Desk: Manohar Lal Dhakad, a political leader of Madhya Pradesh, was arrested by the police after pornographic videos went viral on social media with a woman. The man was reportedly caught in an “objectionable position” with the woman and the footage was captured on a CCTV camera on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
This video, which went viral on social media, got a lot of discussion in political circles. Dhakad is a “local political leader” from Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh. The footage is captured in a CCTV camera installed at a toll booth on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
The video allegedly featured the leader in an “objectionable” position outside a car. Both were allegedly “obscene acts” on the road. After the video went viral, Bhanpura police in Mandsaur took suo motu cognizance of the video and registered a case of public disturbance and pornography against the leader.
The person has also been arrested. The investigating officer in charge of Bhanpura Police Station told a news agency that a case has been registered against him, “He has been arrested under sections 296, 285 and 3 (5) of the Indian Justice Code. However, we are investigating the case further, because we have to find out who the video was viral and what was the police station. Should be handed over. We also have to find out whether other people were involved in the crime. ”
The police have not yet arrested the woman seen in the video. The police officer said that they are investigating the case and on the basis of investigation, it will be decided that the woman can be registered under which sections of the law. The police is also investigating whether other people were also involved in the entire incident.
BJP refuses relations with Dhakad
Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party has denied any kind of relationship with Dhakad. He dismissed the discussions of his association with the party. Actually the party has claimed that they do not even have primary membership.
NDTV quoted BJP spokesperson Yashpal Singh Sisodia as saying, “This is a very objectionable and embarrassing act done by Manohar Lal Dhakad and woman. He is not even a primary member of BJP. However, any person can technically join the party by giving a ‘missed call’ on the specified mobile number.”
BJP President of Mandsaur district Rajesh Dixit also said that Dhakad is not a member of the party. Another organization called Dhakad Mahasabha Yuva Sangh has also condemned his act. The accused is from Dhakad (Kirar) community.
