Which national highways will be included?
Many important national highways of Bihar will be included under this major scheme. These include NH-80, NH-84, NH-131, NH-230, and parts of NH-90. Current work status and future plans
Currently, the work of this project is at the stage of land acquisition, which is the first and most challenging link of any major road project. According to Nitin Gadkari, the network of roads in Bihar is being further strengthened. The length of the current 5500 km National Highway will be increased to 8000 km. That is, in the coming time, about 2500 km of additional National Highway is expected to be built in the state.
