Currently, BSE's 30-share major index Sensex is trading at 84,888.82 with a drop of 25.22 points i.e. 0.03%. NSE's 50-share major index Nifty is trading at 25,936.10 with a drop of 4.30 points i.e. 0.02%.
Banking, financial services, FMCG, IT, pharma, PSU banks, private banks, realty, healthcare and oil and gas stocks declined by 0.02-1.45%. Bank Nifty is trading 0.06 per cent down at 53,933.55. While auto, metal and consumer durables stocks are trading on the rise.
Among the major stocks, Asian Paints, Divi's Labs, Bajaj Finserv, Titan, HDFC Bank, HDFC Life, Britannia and HDFC fell by 0.59-1.35 per cent, while among the heavyweights, Coal India, HCL Tech, Adani Enterprises, Tata Steel, ONGC, JSW Steel and UPL rose by 0.70-1.35 per cent.
Among midcap stocks, Zee Entertainment, Adani Power, PB Fintech, Supreme Industries and M&M Financial declined 1.41-5.37 per cent, while CG Power, Emami, Indian Hotels, Godrej Industries and SAIL rose 0.89-1.61 per cent.
Among smallcap stocks, IRB Infra, EKI Energy, PC Jewellers, Pittie Engineering and Plastiblends fell by 4.5-7.75 per cent. However, among smallcap stocks, Sunder Managers, Nandan Denim, Orient Bell, SVP Global and Punjab Chemicals rose by 5.26-7.76 per cent.
