News India Live, Digital Desk: Everything is not good within the Congress -led UDF (United Democratic Front), which expected to win an easy win in the Nilambur by -elections on June 19. IUML (Indian Union Muslim League) is allegedly unhappy with opposition leader VD Satishan, who according to him is taking his decisions without considering the ideas of Muslim League leadership.
Senior IUML leaders are not happy to manage the entire political development around Anwar by PMA Salaam, Kunhalikutty and MK Munir VD Satishan and his close leaders, who wanted to join the UDF as an associate partner. IUML leaders have decided to reveal their concerns and views to AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal, who are monitoring the entire incident in the state.
Many people of UDF believe If he had accepted the conditions of PV Anwar, UDF’s victory in the by -election would have been easy. Now, when CPI (M) has fielded CPM’s strongman M. Swaraj in Nilambur, UDF candidate Aryadan Shaukat is going to be difficult to compete.
After PV Anwar’s decision to contest elections on Trinamool ticket, the Congress leadership feels that this may pierce a large part of the votes from the Congress and this can create embarrassment for the Congress and the Muslim League.
PV Anwar, a previous MLA from Nilambur, left LDF due to sharp differences with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and the CPM state secretary interacted with various Congress and IUML leaders for reconciliation. However, he criticized UDF candidate Aryadan Shaukat and described him as a weak candidate who does not know the pulse of the constituency. Anwar openly supported VS Joy as a UDF candidate. However, UDF finalized Aryadan’s candidature and underestimated the request made by Anwar.
“I have decided to contest on my own under the leadership of TMC due to the attitude of VD Satisan and some of the leaders who provoke them mainly. Satisan is taking things in my hand. I will not join the UDF whose VD Style is part. Now I challenge UDF that if they can win the election, then do this, which was the latest political incidents.
