Noida: There is a great news for the residents of Noida and Greater Noida! Soon double-Dekar buses will be seen running on the streets of these cities like London. Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has prepared this great plan to make the journey of passengers easier and comfortable.
This step is being taken in view of the increasing population and traffic problem, especially in areas such as Noida Extension (Greater Noida West) where public transport is in great need.
What will be the specialty of these buses?

More capacity: Compared to normal buses, these double-dekar buses will be able to travel almost double i.e. 70 to 80 passengers simultaneously. This will reduce the number of buses on the roads and will get relief from the jam.

modern conveniences: These buses will be fully equipped with modern facilities. These will have air conditioner (AC), comfortable seats and CCTV cameras for safety, which will make the journey of passengers safe and enjoyable.

Better connectivity: The main objective of these buses is to connect metro stations with societies and commercial areas. This will greatly benefit those people who depend on auto or cab to get off the metro to their home or office.
NMRC is working fast on this scheme and the tender process will be started soon. Initially these buses will be run on the busiest routes between Noida and Greater Noida.
