News India Live, Digital Desk: The atmosphere at the convocation ceremony of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University (RMLNLU) on Saturday was full of enthusiasm and expectations. The young law graduates, who were achieving a major achievement in their lives, had dreams of a bright future on their faces and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was present among them to give new flight to these dreams.

Addressing the students dressed in black gown and cap, Chief Minister Yogi advised them not to be limited to just bookish knowledge but also taught them the biggest lessons of life. He said, “Your thinking should always be positive. You have to think of being part of the solution and not the problem. The world always looks forward to the person who shows the way to the solution and not the one who himself becomes a problem.”

Society is incomplete without lawyers

Emphasizing the importance of legal profession, the Chief Minister said that it is a very prestigious and important profession. He said, “Just like a doctor treats the body, similarly a lawyer works to give right direction to the society. Without lawyers, this society is incomplete.” He reminded the students that most of the leaders in India’s freedom struggle were lawyers, who brought independence to the country with their reasoning power and knowledge.

Make ‘Panch Pran’ the basis of life

CM Yogi also mentioned the ‘Panch Pran’ (five resolutions) given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He called upon the students to implement these five resolutions—the goal of a developed India, freedom from every thought of slavery, pride in their heritage, unity and solidarity, and citizens doing their duty—in their lives. He said that if every citizen of the country, especially the youth, adopts these resolutions, then no one can stop India from becoming the biggest power in the world.

Wishing the students all the best, he said that the position they are standing at today is the result of their hard work and the sacrifice of their parents. Now it is their responsibility to use their knowledge for the betterment of the society. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
