News India Live, Digital Desk: Big Decision of RBI: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued new guidelines to make digital payments more safe. These guidelines are based on the recommendations of ‘Committee on Payment and Market Infrastructure’ (CPMI) and ‘Board of Payment and Settlement System’ (BPSS). This simply means that now the online transactions you do will be made more secure and stronger.

The aim of these new rules is that no one can dent in your digital transactions. Under this, it will be ensured that your identity is confidential, no information is leaked and no one can refuse the payment you have made. The RBI has specifically advised that strong security methods should be adopted, and ‘dynamic authentication’ (which changes every time) should be given more importance than ‘Static Authentication’ (which remains the same).

These rules will apply to all companies, individuals and consumers who are related to digital payments in India. The good thing is that these guidelines have come into force with immediate effect. RBI believes that these changes will reduce cyber threats and weaknesses, which will further increase people’s trust in digital transactions.
