News India Live, Digital Desk: Railways has given a big relief to thousands of passengers traveling daily between Tatanagar and Buxar. If you too were forced to travel like sheep crammed into the general coaches of Tatanagar-Buxar Express, then now there is some good news for you. In view of the huge rush of passengers and their continuous complaints, South-Eastern Railways has added an additional capacity to this train. Unreserved (General) Coach Have decided to install.

Had compulsion to travel by hanging on doors

Train No. 18183/18184, Tatanagar-Buxar-Tatanagar Express, is one of the most important trains running on this route. This train not only connects Tatanagar and Buxar, but also attracts thousands of daily commuters, labourers, students and people doing odd jobs from big stations like Asansol on its way.

For a long time, the conditions in the general compartments of this train had become so bad that people were not even able to get space to put their feet. The crowd was so huge that people were forced to travel by sitting on toilets and hanging from the doors, risking their lives. The situation became even more frightening during festivals.

Railways listened to the requests of passengers

In view of the continuous complaints and demands made by the passengers, the railway administration finally woke up. Chakradharpur Railway Division understood the seriousness of the matter and decided to add an additional general coach in this train with immediate effect. This coach will be a part of the permanent coach composition of the train, that is, it will now be always installed.

What will be the benefit from this one coach?

Although an additional coach will not completely eliminate the crowd, it will definitely provide great relief to thousands of passengers.

  • Now at least 100-150 more people will be able to get space to sit or stand properly.
  • The dangerous compulsion to hang out at doors will be reduced to some extent.
  • The journey will become a little safer and less painful.

This small step of the Railways is a big relief for thousands of common people, for whom this train is not just a means of transport but also a source of livelihood. Passengers have welcomed this decision of Railways and have expressed hope that similar steps will be taken in future also keeping their needs in mind.
