If you are a customer of government telecom company BSNL, then there is a slightly disappointing news for you. BSNL has made a big reduction in the validity of many of its well-known prepaid plans. Although, the price of the plan has remained the same, but now you will get less number of days of service for the same amount. In simple language, BSNL has made its plans expensive without increasing the prices.

This change has been made in many plans, ranging from annual plans to cheap plans. Let us know one by one what has changed in each plan.

1. BSNL’s ₹ 1499 plan

The biggest scissors have been used on this plan. The company has reduced its validity by 36 days.

• Earlier: Validity was available for 336 days.
• Now: Only 300 days validity will be available.
  However, it is a matter of relief that the data has been increased from 24GB to 32GB. But this is a setback for those who want long validity.

2. BSNL’s ₹997 plan

The validity of this plan has been reduced by 10 days.

• Earlier: Validity was available for 160 days.
• Now: Only 150 days validity will be available.
  Rest of the benefits are the same as before, which includes unlimited calling and 2GB data daily.

3. BSNL’s ₹897 plan

Customers have got a double shock in this plan. The company has not only reduced the validity by 15 days, but has also drastically reduced the data by 66GB.

• Earlier: 90GB data was available with a validity of 180 days.
• Now: Only 24GB data will be available with validity of 165 days.

4. BSNL’s ₹599 plan

The validity of this plan, popular for work from home (WFH), has been reduced by 14 days.

• Earlier: Validity was available for 84 days.
• Now: Only 70 days validity will be available.
  In this, you get the benefits of 3GB data daily and unlimited calling.

5. BSNL’s ₹439 plan

The validity of this plan has been reduced by 10 days.

• Earlier: Validity was available for 90 days.
• Now: Only 80 days validity will be available.
  Unlimited calls and 300 SMS are available in this.

6. BSNL’s ₹319 plan

Its validity has been reduced by 5 days.

• Earlier: Validity was available for 65 days.
• Now: Only 60 days validity will be available.
  It offers 10GB data and unlimited calls.

7. BSNL’s ₹197 plan

The validity of this plan has been reduced by 6 days.

• Earlier: Validity was 54 days.
• Now: Only 48 days validity will be available.
  It offers 4GB data, 300 minutes calling and 100 SMS.

8. BSNL’s ₹147 plan

Validity has not changed in this plan, but the data has been reduced by 5GB.

• Earlier: 10GB data was available.
• Now: Only 5GB data will be available.
  Its validity is only 25 days.

Overall, this step of BSNL is like putting a burden on the pockets of the customers, because now they will have to recharge more times in a year than before.
