Kanpur, 30 September (HS). The official language of India, Hindi, has been accepted in the office of the United Nations and has also been accepted in many forums of the world. Thus, Hindi is now moving towards becoming a world language by crossing the boundaries of the official language. Director of National Sugar Institute, Prof. said these things on the occasion of Hindi Fortnight on Monday. Seema Paroha said.
Seeing the inclination of the winning participants towards Hindi, Director Prof. Seema Paroha was overwhelmed with joy and said that there is no dearth of knowledge among our officers, employees and students, it has to be expressed in Hindi language through pen and expression. The rough diamonds that have come to our institute in the form of students will be polished and made valuable by our teachers, whose talent will be recognized by the officials of sugar and allied industries in the country and abroad. We should not feel inferior in speaking to children in Hindi at home. In the Mahakumbh of the 4th All India Hindi Conference organized at Bharat Mandapam in the capital Delhi on 13-14 September under the chairmanship of Home Minister Amit Shah, a crowd of more than 12000 Hindi lovers gathered from different parts of the country proved that Hindi is the world's most popular language. It has the unique ability to become a contact language.
Hindi Fortnight celebrated
Hindi Fortnight was celebrated at National Sugar Institute, Kanpur from 14th September to 30th September. During this period, with the aim of promoting work in Hindi in the institute, various competitions like General Knowledge, Hindi Essay, Hindi Typing, Note Drafting and Dictation etc. were organized for the officers and employees, in which the officers and employees participated with great enthusiasm. Participated enthusiastically. A five-member team of the jury for various competitions organized in the institute was formed by Prof. Seema Paroha, which included Dr. Ashok Kumar, Assistant Professor Agricultural Chemistry, Chairman and Akhilesh Kumar Pandey, Chief Designer, Mallika Dwivedi. Assistant Director (Official Language), Daya Shankar Mishra Stenographer Grade-1 and Santosh Kumar Tripathi Upper Division Clerk were the four members. On the basis of the recommendation received from the selection committee, officers and employees were encouraged with cash awards for doing good work in Hindi throughout the year in the institute.

In the officer category, Virendra Kumar, Senior Mechanical Engineer from the Hindi speaking category and Dr. Anant Lakshmi Rangarajan, Assistant Professor Biochemistry from the Hindi speaking category were awarded in Hindi Dictation. In Hindi note drafting, Shailendra Kumar Trivedi Assistant Professor and Vinay Kumar Assistant Professor were given first prize, Mahendra Kumar Yadav Junior Technical Officer, Dr. Sudhanshu Mohan Junior Scientific Officer and Rajendra Kumar Office Superintendent from the employee category were given second prize. The third prize went to Ambrish Kumar Asthana Junior Technical Officer, Ashish Kumar Shukla Junior Technical Officer, Horam Assistant Engineer (Electrical), M.P. Singh and Tejpal Verma, both senior technical assistants, were awarded. Similarly, in the Hindi dictation competition organized for officers, Virendra Kumar Senior Mechanical Engineer got the first prize, Suneet Kapoor Accounts cum Stores Officer got the second prize and Ambrish Kumar Asthana Junior Technical Officer got the third prize. Whereas Dr. Anantalakshmi Rangarajan, Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Vivek Pratap Singh, Junior Technical Officer were given consolation prizes. Apart from this, some other people who did better work in Hindi were also rewarded.
