Survey on Operation Sindoor: After Operation Sindoor, the question arising in the minds of the people of India has come out again. Who is the biggest enemy of India? China or Pakistan? A comprehensive survey was conducted across the country on this question, in which many shocking facts were revealed.
Operation Sindoor was a decisive military operation by India to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. In this operation, India destroyed 9 terrorist camps in Pakistan and PoK. After this campaign, where there was anger among Pakistan towards Pakistan, doubt also increased towards China.
Pre-ceasefire view
Prior to the ceasefire, 47.4% of people described China as the biggest enemy in India in a survey conducted before Operation Vermilian. The main issues behind this were frequent infiltration on the border, tension in Ladakh, China’s aggressive policy towards Taiwan and global strategic conflict. While 27.7% of the people described Pakistan as the main enemy of India, 12.2% of the respondents described both China and Pakistan as enemies.
Public opinion changed after Operation Sindoor
After Operation Sindoor, when India retaliated strongly on Pakistan’s terrorist bases, public sentiments became more intense. However, 51.8% of people still consider China to be the main enemy of India. It is not that anger towards Pakistan has come down, but only 19.6% of the people described it as the biggest enemy of India. With this, 20.7% of the people expressed their opinion that both China and Pakistan are equally dangerous for India. These figures clearly show that while there is short -term public anger towards Pakistan, China is considered more dangerous in a long -term and strategic point of view.
Pakistan’s victory and China’s threats
Operation Sindoor received a major setback to Pakistan. Terrorist groups were crushed in campaigns of Indian aerial and special forces. After this, Pakistan tried unsuccessfully to attack various cities in India, but Indian security forces responded strongly every time.
Interestingly, Pakistani Army officials were present at the funeral of terrorists, which is proof of Pakistan’s satellite relations with terrorism. On the other hand, public mistrust towards China is increasing. China has taken an open stand against India in technology, trade, border disputes and global pressure strategies. This reveals the need to make India’s policy solid and self -sufficient.

China is a long -term threat, Pakistan is an immediate enemy
The survey shows that while Pakistan is an active enemy of India for terrorist activities, the threat from China is more deep and strategic. India will now face these two enemies not only strategically, but also diplomatic, economic and technically. Although Operation Sindoor has taught Pakistan a big lesson, China’s secret expansion has become a more serious issue for India’s national security. In this background, the important message of this survey is that India needs to focus on self -reliant military capabilities, global partnership and internal security.
