Our religion is to teach the oppressors a lesson: Mohan Bhagwat

Mumbai-The terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir has shook the entire country. After this incident, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat issued a statement in which he clearly stated that it is our religion to teach the oppressors a lesson. Bhagwat said that even though we do not harm our neighbors, it is the duty of the king to protect people when it takes a wrong path.

Giving the example of Ravana, Bhagwat said that Lord Rama killed Ravana and did the welfare of the world. This was not violence but the work done to protect religion. He said that our culture is based on non -violence, but when atrocities increase, the use of force is necessary to protect religion. We never harm our neighbors, but if someone is taking a wrong path, it is the duty of the king to protect the subjects. The king will do his work.

Mohan Bhagwat has described this attack as a fight between religion and unrighteousness. This war is between religion and unrighteousness. He was murdered by asking people to his religion. Hindus will never return. He said that hatred and enmity has no place in Hinduism, but to tolerate injustice quietly, it is not a part of our tradition. We have pain and anger in us, and now we have to demonstrate our power to end evil.

Bhagwat insisted that Ravana was killed because he did not change his mind. There was no option left now. Ram killed him but also gave him a chance to improve, but he was killed without improvement. If there is power, then it should be used in time, so that the victory of religion over unrighteousness can be ensured.

We expect a strong process. A true non -violent person should also be strong. He said, “If you do not have strength then there is no option, but if you have strength then you should also perform it when needed.”
