What is AIMIM’s ‘Village Plan’?

According to sources, on the instructions of Owaisi, special teams of party workers have been deployed at every block and tehsil level of UP. The main points of this strategy are as follows:

Booth level activation: The party is forming ‘Majlis Committee’ in every village so that local problems can be raised directly.

Dalit-Muslim alliance: This time Owaisi’s team is trying to make inroads not only in Muslim dominated villages but also in Dalit and backward class settlements.

Preference for young faces: In the Panchayat elections, the party is working on a plan to make educated and energetic local youth as candidates instead of old leaders.

Opposition’s concern increased (SP & BSP under Pressure)

This grassroots activism of AIMIM has created a stir in the camps of Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).
