Oyo’s original company Oravel Stage Limited has changed its name by taking a big decision. Now the name of the company will be Prism. The company says that this name reflects their diversity and all brands together.
The company said that prizes mean clarity, diversity and integration of all brands. The name reflects the company’s thinking and his attitude to the future. However, the name Oyo for budget passengers will be used as before.

The company clarified that even after changing the name, customers will not have any problem. People will be able to book hotels and rooms under the name Oyo as before.
How did this name come?
Founder and CEO Ritesh Aggarwal told the social media platform x that he received more than 6000 suggestions for the new name. Prijm’s name was suggested by Siddhant, Prajwal and Anand. The company thanked him and announced the contact soon.

Oyo was started by Ritesh Aggarwal in 2012. Initially, it worked on improving small hotels through technology. Today, the company is present in more than 35 countries and serves more than 100 million customers.
