About four months ago, the body of an auto driver, who suddenly disappeared, has now been recovered after the intensive investigation of the police and the arrest of the accused. The incident is not just a looting, but a brutal murder, which has given a sad end of a family waiting for four months. According to the police, 35 -year -old Sawan Jatav, a resident of Patoli village in Mavana police station area, who was an auto driver, suddenly went missing on December 16, 2023. The family was constantly wandering in search of him and a report of his disappearance was also lodged at the police station. The family searched for Sawan at every possible place, but no clue was found, causing their hopes to fade. The whole matter was revealed when the police used technical surveillance and its other investigation methods. The police investigation also revealed that an old account was also connected behind this murder. The main accused Deepak Rana told the police that years ago his brother was hurt by a relative of Sawan and he was in a revenge to avenge him. Due to this malicious, he planned to trap Sawan in a trap with his cousin Raman and some of his friends, Parul, Arvind and Mitesh. According to the frightening truth that came out after the police interrogation, on the evening of 16 December, Deepak and Raman caught Sawan’s auto as a ride. On the way itself, these miscreants attacked Sawan inside the auto and took him hostage brutally. He also looted his auto and about fifty thousand rupees. Then Sawan and his auto were taken to the canal tracks of Mavana. Arriving here, the poor strangled Sawan and brutally murdered him. Sawan’s body was thrown into the Bhagirathipur canal of Meerut, so that no one could identify and the evidence disappears. After the murder, the criminals killed hands and feet in many places to hide and sell the auto of Sawan. Finally, he sold it to a person named Kuldeep in Panipat for eighty thousand rupees. It took the police about four months to expose this heinous incident. The police busted the entire gang on the basis of intensive investigation. So far, the five accused – Deepak Rana, Raman, Parul, Arvind and Mitesh have been arrested, while an accused (named Kuldeep) is still absconding, who is searching. It was only after questioning the arrested accused that Sawan’s body and auto were detected. The police is currently trying to recover the looted auto so that every aspect of the case can be completely resolved. The end of the four -month long wait of the family may have been sad, but they must have got some relief from the arrest of the accused. The Meerut Police is investigating the matter with a deep investigation so that every aspect can be revealed and the victims can get justice.
