In a prestigious hospital located in Rajabazar area here, miscreants openly shot a young man and spread sensation in the area. This sensational incident created an atmosphere of panic in the hospital premises and the surrounding area. This young man named Ashok Mandal is shot in the head and is admitted to the ICU of the same Ruban Hospital in critical condition where he is undergoing treatment. According to eyewitnesses and hospital staff, three to four criminals entered the hospital premises. He was probably looking for a particular person and suddenly fired at Ashok Mandal. All this happened so fast that someone could understand something, by then the crooks had escaped. The police team immediately reached the spot as soon as the information was received. Necessary evidence has been collected from the scene and investigation has been started. The police are scrutinizing the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby, so that the attackers can be identified and their escape path can be tracked. The starting investigation is coming to the fore that the matter may be related to old enmity or any land dispute. The police is investigating deeply at this point. Patna police spokesperson and SDPO Danapur has told the media that the injured Ashok Mandal did not have any criminal records already, causing the motive behind this attack to become even more mysterious. The incident that occurred inside the premises considered safe like a hospital shows the rising crime rate in Patna and the fear of criminals. It is clear that there is no fear of police and law among the miscreants, which has become a big challenge for the safety of common people.
