Chief shooter Rohit alias Akash Kumar Singh, who carried out this sensational incident, has been arrested from Kolkata. The police started tracking his online activities with cyber technical assistance. During this time, a police team got an important information related to the ‘Google History’ of the accused. The police investigated his browsing history and found that he had searched Google to find a taxi or auto on Google from his bases. This location turned out to be a special area of Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. This was a very strong clue, as it showed its exact location. A team of immediate police was sent to Kolkata. On intensive investigation and information of informers, Rohit alias Akash Kumar Singh was found hidden in a flat in Kolkata. The police did not delay and arrested him from the flat itself. After the arrest, he has confessed his crime during the interrogation and has also raised many important secrets related to the incident. He told that he was not only involved in the Chandan Mishra murder case, but he is also accused of two more murder in Jharkhand. Police is also conducting raids in search of his other associates. This arrest is considered a major success in solving the mystery of Patna’s double murder.
