The month of September is ending and usually this is the time of monsoon farewell. But it seems that the monsoon from Jharkhand is not going to go so easily and quietly. The Meteorological Department has issued a major warning for the people of the state, according to which the next few days, especially today (30 September), may be overshadowed for many districts.
The Ranchi Meteorological Center has clearly stated that the monsoon has once again become active in the state and its effect will be seen for the next 3-4 days.
Why the weather is deteriorating?
The reason for this sudden change is a new cyclonic system being built in the Bay of Bengal. This system is moving towards Jharkhand with a lot of moisture with it, which will directly be seen in the form of strong winds, thunderstorms and frightening rain.
These areas will affect the most
According to the Meteorological Department, this system will have the largest impact on the southern and central parts of Jharkhand. These areas include:
- Eastern and West Singhbhum
- Seraikela-Kharsawan
- Simdega
- Pegs, Gumla and Ranchi
Today, there is a possibility of heavy rains in these districts as well as strong winds and thunderstorms (lightning).
Double Alert: Rain also threatens electricity along with rain
This is not just a rain alert. The Meteorological Department has made a special appeal to the people that when the clouds are thundering or lightning is shining, they should not leave the house at all. Farmers have also been advised to avoid working in their fields during this time and do not stand under any tree or electric pole at all.
In short, the weather can become a villain amidst the preparations for Durga Puja. Therefore, take full precautions in the next few days and know the condition of the weather before leaving the house.
