Pledge ceremony held to make India a healthy nation | News India

Kathua, August 23 (HS). As part of the opening ceremony of National Sports Week celebrations, the Physical Education Department organized a pledge ceremony in collaboration with IQAC, GDC Marheen.

The program was organized under the supervision of the college principal Professor Anupama Gupta. The teachers and students of the college actively participated in the pledge ceremony and spread the message among the college students that they will devote their time to physical activities and sports every day. Apart from this, they will also encourage their family members and society to stay physically fit and make India a healthy nation.

The programme was managed by Dr. Balbinder Singh PTI GDC Madheen. Faculty members present on the occasion were Prof. Sandeep Chaudhary, Dr. Arun Dev Singh, Dr. Munisha Devi and Dr. Shalu Rani. Formal welcome address was presented by Dr. Balbinder Singh and the proceedings of the programme were conducted by Prof. Manu Saini. Prof. Anoop (Convener, IQAC) presented formal vote of thanks. More than 40 students actively participated in the programme.
