PM Modi paid emotional tribute to Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, said India is incomplete without him

News India Live, Digital Desk: On the birth anniversary of our former Prime Minister and ‘Bharat Ratna’ Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has paid an emotional tribute to him. Remembering Vajpayee ji, PM Modi praised his contribution to India’s development and his strong leadership.

Prime Minister Modi shared his views on social media platform ‘X’ (earlier Twitter). He wrote, “My heartfelt tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, an Indian leader who always remained in the hearts of the people, on his birth anniversary. His contribution in taking India to a new height is unmatched. We will always be inspired by his thoughts and his dream of developing the country.” Along with this post, PM also shared some memorable pictures of Atal ji.

Let us tell you that Atal Bihari Vajpayee was born on December 25, 1924, and this day is also celebrated as ‘Good Governance Day’. His political career was quite long, and he became the Prime Minister of India three times. First time in 1996 for 13 days, second time for 13 months from 1998 to 1999, and then for full five years from 1999 to 2004, he took over the reins of the country.

Vajpayee ji is remembered as an efficient administrator, great orator and a strong leader. He was awarded India’s highest civilian award, ‘Bharat Ratna’ in 2015. During his tenure, India had established many important milestones from nuclear power to economic reforms. He died on 16 August 2018 at the age of 93. Even today, he is seen as a great pillar of Indian politics, who always kept the interests of the country paramount, rising above the party.
