In the last few years, crime has increased significantly in Mumbai-Pune city. Police have prepared a corrective plan to control serious crimes such as terror and murder, attempt to murder, forced recovery by various gangs, including the Koata gang in Pune. Data of 30,000 criminals have been collected under the corrective scheme prepared by Pune Police. Apart from this, two and a half thousand such places have been identified where crimes are often committed and it has been decided to patrol five times a day in such areas.
On the basis of the information received in this regard, Pune Police Commissioner Aminesh Kumar ordered the officials to make a corrective plan to curb the increasing crime in Pune. Accordingly, the Pune Police has prepared various corrective schemes with the help of the Crime Branch and the local police station. In this regard, an official said that under the biggest corrective scheme launched by the police, data of 30 thousand criminals has been collected, which compiles the entire details of these criminals, including their previous record, address, important information about them etc. The police have mapped two and a half thousand places across the city. Where there are often incidents of crime. The police decided to patrol these places five times a day. These two and a half thousand places identified by the police are spread in the police stations of Zone-5 and Zone-3.
In this regard, Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar told the media that the police’s road patrolling will curb criminals. Along with this, emphasis will also be laid on preventive action. He said that patrolling has been increased through local police and Cops 24. In addition, information of 30,000 criminals has been compiled and policing is being implemented accordingly.
