Even in ancient times, the use of the word 'Pramoon' can be commonly heard by the elders. Even then, mutual relations were given a lot of importance. At that time, scolding and reprimanding were also given a lot of importance in the house. If the parents scolded or reprimanded the children for every mistake to inculcate good qualities in them, then it meant preparing the children for their future life so that they could face such times strongly in the future. Not only this, if the parents scolded, then the elders of the house would take them in their lap and explain the meaning of the scolding of the parents. By praising them, they also maintained the respect of their parents in their eyes. Nowadays, due to late marriage, late birth of children or being a nuclear family, the warmth of these relationships between children is getting lost. The child grows up with servants working for money and the behavior of the children is also becoming the same.
We are talking about the word praise. The word praise itself has a meaning. But – we praise someone while worrying about someone or we praise someone while worrying about ourselves. In today's fast-paced life and environment of egoistic people, no one has time to think good about anyone. No one knows what is happening around. If we start from home, if elders praise and appreciate their children, then we can teach children more and build confidence in them and eliminate negativity. Instead of behaving negatively on any work of children, marks obtained in the examination, participation in any activity, we can increase their interest in these activities by praising them. While talking to children on every subject, the creative side should always be kept in front so that their thinking is progressive. The teacher should also always have a progressive and appreciative behavior with the children of his class. Even on someone's scolding or to end any fight between children, they should adopt a farsighted attitude and encourage both the parties to live together. While praise keeps the person who praises energetic, the person who is praised also does everything in a hurry. The blood flow in his veins increases. He feels a new strength within himself.
We should take responsibility to participate in improving our society and be inspired to improve our homes as well. Praising someone produces a hormone called estrogen in the body of any person. This creates a different kind of energy in him and his thinking also becomes respectful and reverential towards you and his confidence increases and he also gets inspiration to do good work. Whether any member of the family or any person around us is good or bad can be identified by his conversation and his behavior towards you.
A person's thoughts, conduct and behaviour reveal his character and morality. Praising someone is also a noble quality. This not only gives respect to that person but also makes him an inspirational messenger in the society. Praising someone is also an act of courage, otherwise today everyone wants to bring down others by criticising them. Appreciating and appreciating good qualities helps us to build better relationships with others. While criticism and condemnation lower the morale of the other person, it also creates a void inside us and lowers morale. Not appreciating a hardworking person reduces his morale and confidence. He is no longer able to do his work enthusiastically. He feels that he is being ignored. This can create a feeling of disappointment in him. Therefore, their morale should be increased by always appreciating their hard work and contribution, only then can the society be made constructive. Praise instills confidence and invisible energy in everyone and creates positive thoughts inside you, becomes an inspiration for you, while criticism creates negative energy. Thus there is a difference between the two. One is destructive and the other gives lively guidance. Moving in a positive direction leads us towards continuous prosperity and development. It is very important to give proper respect to the right person. This creates confidence in people. It has a huge contribution in improving the society. By bringing today's youth on the right path, we can take any society to heights. If they are united and given a good direction, they can do something, but with negative energy they can take a destructive path and fill the society with evils. Criticism should be avoided while praising good deeds. We should be careful that our praise is to encourage excellence and not to create destruction by encouraging unrighteousness. Sometimes we need to be balanced and sensitive to show emotions. It is also important to avoid praising wrong deeds after understanding them. Wrong deeds of persons leading the society should not be praised. This sends a message of corruption and immorality to them. Honesty, morality and excellence should be promoted in the society. The purpose of appreciation is to encourage a person for good work and make him realize the importance of his contribution. Therefore, our aim should be to always give constructive guidance to the society while appreciating the good works of others with equality and humility.
Excellence is in self-esteem
It has been seen that when we get ready, if someone praises us, our self-confidence increases. If someone makes a mistake, we do not even want to wear those clothes. In today's fast-paced time, when ego has dominated and the respect for self-respect has decreased, it is important to understand the difference between the two. Ego is an obstacle in appreciating someone, while pride is hidden behind self-respect, which differentiates between good and bad. Pride makes us feel inferior to others, while self-respect makes us feel superior to ourselves.
