The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for the December session of the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET).

How to apply for UGC NET exam?

- Find the registration link: On the homepage of the website, you will see a link like “UGC NET December – Registration”. Click on it to start.
- If you are new, register first: If you are applying for the first time, you will have to create your account by clicking on ‘New Candidate Register Here’. In this you will have to provide some general information like your email ID and mobile number. After this your application number and password will be created. Make sure to write it down somewhere safe!
- Fill the Application Form: After registration, log in with your application number and password. Now you have to fill the main application form. In this, things like your personal information, educational qualifications and selection of cities for the examination will have to be filled. Fill every information carefully.
- Upload required documents: Now you have to upload the scanned copy of your newly taken photo and signature. Keep in mind that these should be in the correct size and format given on the website.
- Pay the Examination Fee: The last step is to pay the fees. You can make online payment through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. Remember, without paying the fees your application will be considered incomplete.
- Print the confirmation page: After successful payment of fees, a confirmation page will appear. It is very important to save this page and take a printout of it and keep it with you.
