Retail TDs and CASAs together account for about 71% of total deposits. Our CASA promotion efforts are just beginning to take shape. MF distribution and Forex products will be launched for clients in Q3, while the future rollout of ASBAs will further boost CASA mobilization. We have proactively reset rates in both TD and SA across various buckets, resulting in cost of funds improvement of 23 bps quarter-on-quarter and 17 bps year-on-year. We expect further COF benefits in the coming quarters.
Loan disbursement remained strong in the quarter with highest disbursement of Rs 7,932 crore, up 21.3% quarter-on-quarter and 47.6% year-on-year. For H1FY26, disbursements grew 35.8% to Rs 14,471 crore, led by continued momentum in the secured loan book. Our gross loan book grew by 3.9% quarter-on-quarter and 14.0% year-on-year to Rs 34,588 crore in Q2FY26, driven by our disciplined approach of diversifying the asset suite and building a sustainable portfolio. The share of secured loans came down to 47% due to faster growth in secured products as compared to unsecured ones.
In line with guidance, our microfinance portfolio is stabilising, and customers’ repayment behavior is showing improvement. This is evidenced by “Bucket-X” collection efficiency ranging from 99.45% to 99.50% for three consecutive months in Q2FY26. Our overall asset quality, defined by credit cost, remained stable at 2.8%, and we are positioned to continue improving in the remaining quarters of the financial year.
Profit after tax (PAT) for Q2FY26 stood at Rs 122 crore, up 18.2% quarter-on-quarter (q-o-q). ROA and ROE increased by 1.0% and 7.7% respectively. Supporting our future growth plans through strategic branch expansion and product diversification, we are confident of growing loan advances by approximately 20% in FY26, while credit costs will remain between 2.3% to 2.4% of the gross loan portfolio.”
