India will benefit from the closure of Bagihar dam

This will cause trouble to Pakistan. However, only India will benefit from stopping water. Bagihar is located on the Chenab River. Which is very economic and socially very important for India. Closing the gate of the dam will benefit India. This will increase power generation in Jammu and Kashmir. This area faces lack of electricity during winter. However, since India will use all the water now, there will be no shortage of electricity here.
