Rapido has come to compe with swiggy and zomato, now you will get cheap food

The company plans to launch a new food delivery service called ‘Rapido On’, which aims to provide customers a much cheaper food compared to the current options.

Rapido claims that ordering food through its new service will be cheaper than Swigy and Zomato. The company aims to reduce this by reducing the commission taken from the restaurant. While the existing food delivery platforms charge a huge commission from the platform restaurant, Rapido has adopted a strategy to keep this commission significantly low. With this, restaurants will be able to sell food at low cost, which will provide direct benefit to customers and they will get cheap food.

This new service of Rapido will be known as ‘Rapido On’ and it will be available as a separate section in the company’s current app itself. Initially the company plans to launch this service in a few selected cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi-NCR, and then gradually it will be expanded to other cities of the country.

The company believes that the low commission model will not only attract restaurants, but will also be beneficial for customers, allowing them to give tough competition to installed players such as Swigi and Zomato. Rapido already has a large network of bike-taxi service, which it can also use for its food delivery service, which will reduce the cost of logistics and make the delivery process more efficient. This step can further increase competition in the Indian food delivery market, which can eventually provide better and affordable services to customers.
