News India Live, Digital Desk: Kotedar Complaint: In the Janata Darshan program of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the atmosphere became serious when a woman came in front of him with his plea with tears in her eyes. The problem of the woman was small, but for a poor, it is her whole world. The woman told the Chief Minister in a trembling voice that the Kotdar (ration dealer) of her village is reluctant to give her ration of the government scheme and she is not getting her full rights.
Hearing the problems of the woman, the attitude of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath became very strict. The matter was not limited to listening only, but he immediately took action on it. CM Yogi summoned the officials concerned there and gave clear instructions that the matter should be investigated immediately.
Addressing the District Magistrate (DM) and District Supply Officer (DSO) present on the spot, he said, “The robber will not be spared on the rights of any poor. Immediately look at the matter and if the Kotdar is guilty then ensure the strict action against him.”
The Chief Minister also clarified that it is the intention of the government that the benefits of government schemes reached every poor and needy without any hassle. In this, negligence or corruption at any level will not be tolerated.
The incident took place during the regular ‘Janata Darshan’ program of CM Yogi in Gorakhpur, where he meets the common people directly and listens to their problems. This time too, he heard the problems of about 200 people and instructed the officials to dispose of them on the spot. But this quick action against the Kotdar has once again given a message that the hearing of the common man in the Yogi government is directly at the top level, and there is no apology for those who play with the rights of the poor.
