Israel has given another blow to Hezbollah. The Israeli strike appears to have targeted Hezbollah's next new chief, Hashem Saffieddine. According to Israel's claim, the Israeli army targeted a bunker in the southern area of Beirut. In this bunker Hashem Safyaeddin was meeting other top leaders of Hezbollah. However, it is not yet clear whether Hashem is dead or alive. No statement has come from Hezbollah.
Top Hamas commander killed
Along with Hezbollah, Israel is also targeting Hamas. Just a few hours ago, Israel had launched a major attack on Hamas positions in the West Bank. Israeli warplanes bombed Hamas positions in the Tulkarm area, killing top Hamas leader Zahi Yasser Abd al-Razzaq Oufi. The Israeli military says Aufi was accused of attacking Israeli forces last month. He was also accused of providing arms to rebel fighters to attack Israeli forces. The Palestinian Authority's health ministry said at least 18 people were killed in the Israeli attack.
Hashem Saffieddin was the head of Hezbollah's Executive Council and was the subject of discussion to replace Hassan Nasrallah as Hezbollah chief. Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli attack last Friday. Lebanon's capital Beirut is considered the stronghold of Hezbollah. According to the information, last night the Israeli army continuously bombed Hezbollah positions at 11 places in South Beirut.
More than 37 people died in Israel's horrific attack
