Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam has started the application process for recruitment of 4500 teacher posts in Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) schools.

Qualification and eligibility
Educational qualification:
Candidates should have a certificate of Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).
Candidates must read educational qualification and other rules in official notifications before applying.
Age limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 40 years
- Candidates of the reserved category will be given age relaxation as per government rules.
Salary details
According to the pay band (PB-2) selected candidates will get salary from ₹ 14,000 to ₹ 70,000 per month.
