Silver Price Today 3 December 2025: There is some relief news for silver buyers in the middle of the week. The way silver prices were running at the speed of a rocket for the last few days, today on Wednesday (3 December 2025) there has been a slight break in it. Today, the shine of silver has faded a bit in the bullion market and a slight decline has been recorded in its prices.
In the capital Delhi, the price of silver has fallen to Rs 1,87,900 per kg. If compared to yesterday, there has been a decrease of about Rs 200. Although the decline is not huge, the pause amid the rising graph also provides comfort to the buyers.
Why such a big difference in the rates of North and South India?
The most surprising thing in today’s rate list is that there is a huge difference in the prices of North India (Delhi, UP) and South India (Chennai, Hyderabad).
While silver is available at Rs 1,87,900 in Delhi and Mumbai, its price in Chennai and Hyderabad is Rs 1,95,900 per kg.
Simply put, if you are in Chennai, you will have to pay Rs 8,000 more for 1 kg of silver compared to Delhiites.
1 kg silver price in your city (3 December 2025)
If you are going to go to the bullion market today, then check the rate of your city here:
- Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata: Rs 1,87,900
- Lucknow, Patna, Jaipur: Rs 1,87,900
- Ahmedabad, Gurugram, Bhubaneswar: Rs 1,87,900
- Chennai and Hyderabad: Rs 1,95,900 (most expensive)
- Bengaluru: Rs 1,87,900
After all, why is silver becoming so expensive?
Often we think that silver is only used for making anklets or rings, but the reality has changed. Today silver has become an ‘industrial metal’.
The mobiles, laptops, or electric vehicles (EV) that we use all use small silver parts. Even solar panels installed on rooftops cannot be made without silver. As technology is increasing, the consumption of silver is increasing. This is the reason that despite minor fluctuations, the long-term graph of silver is going up.
So if you are looking at silver for investment, then you can take advantage of the slight decline, but before making a huge purchase, definitely negotiate the making charges with the local jeweler.
