News India Live, Digital Desk: Billionaire entrepreneur Allen musk Announced his departure as a special government employee from the Trump administration. He led the Government Efficiency Department (DOGE), an initiative of the Trump administration aimed at preventing federal wastage and streamlining operations.
Musk in a post on X Thanked President Trump for the opportunity to reduce extravagance, and expressed confidence in the future impact of the DOGE mission.
Alan Musk said, “Since my scheduled time as a special government employee is ending, I want to thank President Donald Trump for the opportunity to reduce futile expenditure. The DOGE mission will be even stronger over time as it will become a way of life in the entire government.”
A day earlier, Musk had expressed disappointment with President Donald Trump for the first time, demanding a huge expenditure package regarding Trump’s legislative efforts, and said that it “increases the budget deficit”.
During an interview with CBS News, Mr. Musk, who recently separated himself from the operation of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), said, “I am clearly disappointed to see this large expenditure bill, which increases the budget deficit rather than reducing the deficit, and weakens the work being done by the DOGE team.”
