News India Live, Digital Desk: Retro Tech: There was a time when BlackBerry ruled in the world of smartphones. Its physical QWERTY keyboard and excellent design were the first choice of professional people. However, after the arrival of iPhone and Android, the magic of BlackBerry gradually ended. But now, there is a great news for those who still miss that classic keyboard today. Blackberry’s iconic design seems to be ready to return to a new avatar.
Actually, this return is not making the Blackberry Company directly. A Chinese company named Unihertz, known for its unique and keyboard phones, has released a new teaser. This teaser depicts the silhouette (shadow) of a phone, which resembles the blackberry classic. This ‘Coming Soon’ teaser has raised a new hope in the world of technology and especially among the old fans of Blackberry.
What will happen ‘modern twist’?
Although the design of this phone will be inspired by the old Blackberry Classic, the technology inside it is expected to be completely modern. This phone will run on the old Blackberry OS, but on the latest Android operating system. This means that users will get access to classic Qwerty keyboard as well as millions of apps of Google Play Store. It is expected that modern features like 5G connectivity, a better camera and fast processor will also be given in it.
This step targets those who still consider typing experience on physical keyboards as the best. It will now be seen whether this new avatar of Qwerty Keyboard can make people as crazy as Blackberry had made at one time.
