Rewari, September 4 (HS). Under the Haryana Assembly General Elections, nomination forms will be available for the three assembly constituencies of the district (Bawal, Kosli and Rewari) from Thursday 5 September to Thursday 12 September. The district administration has completed all preparations for the nomination process. Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Abhishek Meena said on Wednesday that the nomination forms for Bawal, Kosli and assembly constituencies will be filled at the level of the respective Returning Officer.

He said that nomination papers can be filed on every working day and Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm. Only Sunday will be a holiday. He said that there will be a ban on bringing vehicles within 100 meters of the nomination room and at the time of nomination, only four people will be allowed to enter the nomination room along with the person filing the nomination. He said that the room where nominations will be done will be fully equipped with CCTV cameras.

The District Election Officer clarified that nomination papers can also be filled online through the Election Commission of India's facility app and website. It will be mandatory to submit the hard copy of the online nomination form in the concerned RO office. He informed that the process of election nomination will continue till Thursday, September 12 and the nomination papers will be scrutinized on Friday, September 13. Similarly, nominations can be withdrawn till Monday, September 16 and voting will be held on Saturday, October 5 and counting of votes will be done on Tuesday, October 8. He said that the district administration is ensuring preparations as per the schedule issued by the Election Commission of India. He said that the rules of the nomination process are available on the Election Commission of India's website. He advised the citizens filing nomination to study the rules carefully before filling the nomination form. He said that a help desk has also been set up for the convenience of the candidates.
