RSS opposed the decision of Muslim reservation in Karnataka, concerned about atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has opposed the Karnataka government’s decision to give 4% reservation to Muslims. Union General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale described this decision against the basic principles of the Constitution. He said that religion based reservation was never accepted in the Indian Constitution, which was prepared by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.

RSS statement – There is no place for religion based reservation in the constitution

On Saturday, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s cum Sarkaryavah Arun Kumar gave information on the proposal passed in the All India House of Representatives.

• He informed that the Representative Assembly discussed organizational work, influence on society and the role of the Sangh for nation building.

• The Sangh has paid special attention to the expansion and strength of its work in the last 100 years.

• He also said that the Sangh’s goal is to become ‘all -intelligent and omnipresent’, which touches every aspect of society and nation.

• The Sangh has currently registered its presence in 134 major institutions of the country, and is planning to further expand it in the coming years.

Concern over the oppression of Hindus in Bangladesh

In the All India House of Representatives, a resolution called ‘solidarity with Hindu society’ was passed in Bangladesh for increasing atrocities on Hindus.

• The Sangh strongly condemned the atrocities on Hindus and other minority communities by radical Islamic elements in Bangladesh.

Hindu population declines in Bangladesh – Sangh expresses concern

Arun Kumar said that continuous organized attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh and government’s inaction are worrisome.

• In 1951, the Hindu population in Bangladesh was 22%, which has now come down to just 7.95%.

• He said that atrocities on Hindus, especially scheduled castes and tribes have been continuing for a long time.

• The Sangh said that due to the inaction of the Bangladesh government, criminals are strong.

RSS message – safety of Hindus should be ensured

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has demanded the Bangladesh government and the international community to ensure the safety of Hindus.

• The Sangh believes that religious intolerance and human rights violations can no longer be ignored.

• The United Nations and other global institutions should take strict steps on this issue.
