News India Live, Digital Desk: Safety and Convenience: There is an important information for railway passengers in Jharkhand. 7 trains passing through Jharkhand for the next 18 days and starting from here have been canceled, while the routes of 5 other trains have been changed. Railways have taken this step for infrastructure development works and track maintenance, so that rail travel can be made more safe and convenient in future. This change will be applicable to these trains under various railway zones, which may have to amend their travel plan. According to the railway officials, these changes are mainly related to non-interlocking work, construction of bridges and track renewal. A large ‘block’ is being taken for these tasks, that is, operations on the respective track for a certain period will be completely closed. It is necessary for engineering related work which are important to ensure the safety and smooth rail traffic of passengers. Considering the list of affected trains (please see the official railway release for detailed information): Some passengers and mail/express trains include, which have been completely canceled for 18 days. The route of five trains will be changed, so that they will pass through a different path to reach their destinations. Tickets are booked in, they have been advised to check the status of their train by calling the railway’s official website (www.indianrail.gov.in), NTES app, or 139 before starting their journey. Railways will also provide facilities for cancellation of tickets or alternative travel options to passengers. These changes may cause problems like congestion or delay in time at some places, but it is unavoidable to take such steps to ensure the safety of passengers and better railway infrastructure.
