Another exciting chapter of football was written in the Saudi Pro League, where Al Nasar defeated Al Fateh with a huge margin of 5–0 in his own house thanks to the brilliant performance of Cristiano Ronaldo. This was the first win of the season for Al Nasar and the hero of this victory was undoubtedly Cristiano Ronaldo, who not only scored three goals but also helped in one goal. Sadiyo Mane also played an important role in the team’s victory by scoring two goals.
Al Nasar’s dominance was seen from the beginning of the match. In the 27th minute of the game, Sadiyo Mane scored on Ronaldo’s finest pass and gave Al Nasar an edge. Just 11 minutes later, in the 38th minute, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal from the header to 2–0 on the cross of Sultan Al Ghanam. This was Ronaldo’s first goal of this season.
Al Nasar’s attack continued in the second half as well. In the 55th minute, Ronaldo scored his second and the team’s third goal at the exact pass of Abdul Rahman Garib. After this, Sadiyo Mane converted another magnificent pass from Abdul Rahman Poor to the score of 4-0 in the 81st minute. Cristiano Ronaldo scored his hat-trick in the final moments of the match (90+6th minute), scoring a goal near Nawaf Bushal and gave the team a brilliant win of 5–0.
Al Fateh’s team tried to create some opportunities, but they failed to penetrate Al Nasar’s strong defense. His goalkeeper Jacob Rinne did some good defense, otherwise the difference of defeat could have been even bigger. With this victory, Al Nasar has strengthened his position in the points table and has shown why he is one of the strong contenders for the title.
