News India Live, Digital Desk: Sawan 2025: The holy month of devotion of Bholenath is coming near Sawan, and during this time Rudrabhishek has special significance to please Lord Shiva. It is believed that Rudrabhishek is a very powerful ritual dedicated to ‘Rudra’ of Lord Shiva. By doing this, Mahadev is quickly pleased with his devotees and gives them immense grace. Rudrabhishek is considered to be the most effective remedy for happiness, peace, prosperity, fulfillment of wishes and conquering enemies in life. It calms the planetary defects of a person and liberates him from all kinds of crises. To do the Rudrabhishek, first go to the Shiva temple with a clean mind or install Shivling at home. Place Ganga water, cow’s milk, curd, ghee, honey, sugar, sugarcane juice, aromatic perfumes, flowers, belpatra, dhatura, cannabis, shami letters, sandalwood and akshat in worship material. Start worship in auspicious time. Take water in a clean vessel and start anointing on the Shivling. After this, keep anointing with milk, curd, ghee, honey, sugar and sugarcane juice in turn. Keep chanting ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ or Mahamrityunjaya Mantra with every consecration. On completion of the consecration, wash the Shivling with pure water and offer sandalwood, belpatra, dhatura, cannabis and other worship materials. Light a lamp and offer it. Finally pray forgiveness by doing Aarti. In the scriptures, different fruits of consecration are described from different substances; For example, anointing with water receives good rain, milk brings happiness, peace and children, while honey brings economic prosperity. Sugarcane juice and planetary defects are considered to be the best for peace for peace. Anointing with ghee has health benefits and gets long life. Abhishek with curd removes marriage problems and gets a worthy spouse. All Mondays of the month of Sawan are considered extremely auspicious for Rudrabhishek, although according to the almanac, it is even more fruitful in some specific dates and Muhurtas. It is believed that Rudrabhishek, which is performed by law during the spring, greatly pleases Mahadev, which gives the devotees both spiritual and physical successes.
