New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated Shahbaz Sharif on becoming the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the second time. PM Modi has congratulated Shahbaz Sharif by sharing a post on social media.
In fact, after Shahbaz took oath as Prime Minister last Monday, many speculations had started due to non-receipt of congratulatory message from India, but at present all these speculations have come to a complete stop.
First Congrats
Even when Shahbaz Sharif became Prime Minister for the first time in April 2022, PM Modi had congratulated him on the social media platform X. During this, Modi had said that India wants peace and terrorism-free stability in the entire region, so that we can focus on the challenges of development and ensure the welfare of the people.
The Chinese President also congratulated
Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sunday congratulated Shahbaz Sharif on being elected as the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the second time. He expressed hope that under his leadership the two countries will continue to strengthen their strategic partnership. He said that China and Pakistan should further strengthen cooperation in all fields.
