Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya assured Buddhist monks of restoration of ancient sites in Kapilvastu.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya met Buddhist monks at Kapilvastu, the playground of Lord Buddha. Shri Maurya assured that restoration and development of ancient sites is among the priorities of the government. He visited the Vipassana Center and took stock of the arrangements there and gave the message of peace and harmony. Also blankets were distributed among the people.

Honorable Prime Minister says that we have given the world Buddha, not war.
