Study dispute took father’s life The facts that have emerged during police interrogation are extremely shocking.
Night of Brawl: Liquor and pathology businessman Manvendra Singh, living in Bangla Bazaar area of Ashiana, had a heated argument with his son Akshat on the late night of 19 February 2026 regarding NEET studies.
Committed a horrific death in his sleep: The father had slept in his bedroom after the night’s fight. But Akshat was bleeding. At around 4:30 am on February 20, he picked up a rifle and shot his father, who was fast asleep, close to his head. The bullet was fired from such close range that chunks of flesh flew into the bedroom.
Threatened sister and dismembered body in bathroom Akshat’s sister Kriti woke up after hearing the loud sound of gunshot. When he protested after seeing this horrific scene, Akshat intimidated him and silenced him.
After this, the accused son dragged his father’s body to the bathroom.
In the bathroom, he brutally cut off his father’s hands and legs with a saw and a knife and put the body pieces in a sack.
Preparation for melting was done with knife, drum and acid ordered from Blinkit. Akshat had plotted this murder in a very clever manner like a thriller film.
Online Order: Just a day before committing the crime, he had ordered two sharp knives from the delivery boy through the online grocery app ‘Blinkit’.
Goods purchased from market: To dispose of the dead body, he himself went to the market and bought a big blue drum and a saw from there.
His whole dreadful plan was that he would put the body pieces in a blue drum and melt them completely with chemical (acid) so that the police could not find any clue.
Body pieces and burnt evidence found on the canal bank In the afternoon of the next day of the murder, Akshat kept a sack full of body parts in the trunk of his car and hid it in the bushes on the banks of a canal in Sadrauna area.
He also packed the blood stained mattress, pillow and bedsheet in a sack, took it to the canal bank and set it on fire.
When the Ashiana police team reached the spot (Sadaurana) with accused Akshat on Tuesday, on his behest the sack in which Manvendra’s severed body parts were kept was recovered from the bushes.
According to ACP Cantt Abhay Pratap Mall, the police have also collected half-burnt clothes and ashes as evidence. The police have also got concrete evidence related to the purchase of saws and drums. At present, further legal action and investigation of the case is going on.
